Considering current energy costs and net zero targets, it's never been more important for a Facilities Manager to know what energy is being used by what equipment. With Lagan Networks solutions, the cost of electric to run anything from a heavy duty 3 phase piece of factory equipment right down to a coffee machine in an office can be determined. By enabling our clients to know day to day electrical costs, benchmarks can be established & initiatives started to reduce costs & achieve net zero goals.
A comfortable working environment is important for employee welfare. No matter how small or large the site, Lagan Networks through our Dashboard can easily provide a facilities manager an overview of temperature and humidity in every building and office. The benefits are twofold, firstly heating, cooling and ventilation in areas which are too hot or cold can be optimised and secondly better control can be put in place in areas where the temperatures are higher than needed during non working hours.
High CO2 can impact employee performance, levels above 1500 ppm can lead to tiredness & reduced productivity. Additionally for HSE reasons it can be important to monitor the levels of PM (Particulate Matter) e.g. in an industrial environment. Lagan Networks have a discreet range of sensors which can monitor CO2 and PM. The data is stored securely in our Cloud and presented via our Dashboard. Historical data is available to check effectiveness of ventilation and provide an audit trail when required.
Lagan Networks is able to offer our clients, open / close sensors, motion detectors, lone work trackers and asset locators among many others devices. These are simple tools to measure people traffic, unusual entry, improve employee safety and monitor the location of key assets. The benefit Lagan Networks brings is that all the information gathered can be displayed in a single location, our Dashboard, which also enables e-mail and text alerts to be set for unusual or unexpected events.
Levels of heating oil, diesel, chemicals and other liquids in containers such as tanks or IBCs can be measured and displayed on a Lagan Networks Dashboard. In turn usage rates can be established, alerts sent when a refill is required or if there has been an unanticipated drop in levels. With this in mind the efficiencies in terms of inventory managements are numerous, e.g. the avoidance of heating being out of action or unnecessary downtime.
The previous five solutions are examples of practical applications of solutions Lagan Networks provide. One key takeaway is that it's not just the sensors we are providing to our clients which are the most important thing, it's the data that's being gathered and in turn learned from which is invaluable. The Dashboard we provide presents the data in a clear manner, due to it's flexibility and our expertise we can offer an almost unlimited array of custom solutions.
No matter the type or number of sensors, the information and data gathered can all be displayed on a Lagan Networks Dashboard which is customized to the sensor solution set up at our client’s sites. Granular level analysis of a range of parameters at many different locations, such as factories, large commercial facilities, remote rural locations etc.. can be undertaken in a moment. Minimum, maximum or unusual event alerts can be set to notify if remedial action is needed to avoid unnecessary downtime / costs or if onsite inspection is required. We work closely with our clients to ensure the information they need to act proactively is readily available.
